fall food

Been eating good fall food lately, mostly local things.....

roasted turnips with a honey lemon sauce, mushroom phyllo triangles on the side


local apples, simmered in fresh cider, with some steel cut oats


warm potato salad with carmelized onions and goat cheese


cranberry walnut tart

Great inspiration! All of these look terrific, but especially the potatoes and pie. Great photos! (I just made potato-fennel gratin with Gruyere cheese from Barefoot Contessa - the book from you and Adam - and it was soooo good.
